Each GM is responsible for being under the salary cap at the end of the draft, or it may result in the release of drafted players to remain under the cap."

Should the below position votes go into effect this year?

POSITION DATE
The position chart for the upcoming season will be created from NBA.com on the following date:

A. the last day of the prior season for keepers, and 5 days before the draft for non-keepers. This is so if you trade for a player in March, if his position is listed at F-C on the last day of the season, he retains F-C for ONLY the next year.

B. 5 days before draft for all players. It doesn't necessarily have to be 5 days, but should be set before keepers are due. If a player is listed as F-C in April, but listed as F only in October, he will be F only.

POSITION CHANGES
When a position changes during the year:

A. the change is INCLUDED in the player's eligibility (player starts as G-only, gets changed to F-only, is now G-F)

B. the HAHA position changes likewise (player starts as G-only, gets changed to F-only, is now F-only)

C. no mid-year changes to HAHA positions
